Once again I'm reading update after update about Coach Frey getting some great looking OL prospects onto campus. That's great-don't get me wrong, but.....As we all know, we desperately need help on defense. That end starts with getting pressure on the QB and that starts with quality DE's and DT's.
I've read that one of our DE recruits (Cater)was offered by and visited Arkansas. That's great if he stays with us-not sure how likely that is. Another D-line recruit (Swann) sings the praises of two of the schools on his final list but about IU doesn't seem to say much except his brother goes here and likes it. Not going to bet the house he chooses IU.
We desperately need defensive linemen who can come in and make a positive impact. Maybe they're in the program already (Brandon Wilson) but we need more VERY BADLY.
Can't wait till I read the next recruiting update that includes info about a quality DT or DE visiting or committing to IU.
