He is ranked #226 on rivals. It appears we are taking a difffernet approach to recruitng and not putting alot of eggs in the 5 star basket. Maybe putting in all that time on brooks has the staff thinking they will not waste their time on 5 stars anymore.
Probably not much recruiting effort beyond this class...no reason to set the next coach up for a quick turnaround...
Never mind the others we've gotten. That's just a dumb take that is counter to what the staff has stated they will do and what they've done.
I’m sure Archie has a way of evaluating recruits that does not necessarily gibe with those who decide stars, whether they be 3 or 5. Why let other people tell you what to think?
I am not. I made a statement and I did not say there was anything wrong with it. Probably for the best so we do not lose people like brooks to the big boys when they come calling at the last minute.
We've already offered Isiah Jackson, a 5 star out of Spire in OH.

Getting back to this kid for a moment......
There's some video of him on the Inside the Hall site........definitely not overly athletic, in terms of jumping & quickness, below average for a D1 recruit.........can really shoot the ball and is aggressive going to the basket. Kind of a Ted Kitchell/Steve Green/Brian Evans type. Definitely old-school. As I mentioned elsewhere, his offer list expanded dramatically after his last tourney.....
paid off for the other two 5 stars this staff got. i'm guessing they go after who they think they can get and who they think can help. lol.
but we know you are a narrative-driven poster....
If the guy is anything close to Green, Kitchell, or Evans then he ought to be our number 1 priority...(imo).
