Very much like Coach Mercer’s approach. We are in hood hands long term IMO.
Concerned, but not shocked after fall games, that he mentioned Drew Ashley as a frontline catcher. Seems that Hopkins has progressed, assume he starts most games, but really need 2. Combs and Voth apparently still have work to do. Pitching is obviously key in baseball, but solid catching is vital in so many ways. We have been spoiled in the recent past.
Anxious to see 35 man roster, some good players will have to be left out, hope they can hang on somehow.
