Wasn't that a goal tend on the layup attempt by SR?

Black blocked it but in slow motion didn't it hit the backboard first? If it did, isn't it a GT after it hits the backboard?

If it hits the backboard first and then it's blocked it's goaltending plain and simple

I think the Refs missed it, they were probably trailing the play

The athletes can move faster than the B1G Refs and many times the Refs are not in position to make the correct call.

Re: I said same thing aloud after I saw replay ...

that being said, Stan needs to go up stronger there and get his body between hoop and defender.

There was a layup, by JBJ maybe, late in the second half

that I thought a defender grabbed, or at least touched, the rim. The ball went in anyway so it didn't matter, but the ref was oblivious.

Fred.... I respectfully disagree.... I went to BTN2GO and replayed

it over and over and over. If you wouldn't mind.... watch it a couple more times on your dvr and reply back if you still see it the same way.

This is what I saw... or thought I saw... :) As Stan lays the ball up there.... you can see that the ball touches the glass and starts to bound off the glass...a split second later is when the defender slaps the ball and it hits the glass again.... which to the full speed naked eye... makes it look like he slaps it on the glass to block the shot.

The amount of time that the ball comes off of the glass after being released by Stan is so short that in full speed.. it looks like a bang bang play and a good block.

But in my opinion.... the ball hit the glass and was coming off the glass when the defender slapped it back onto the glass...which would be goal tending.
