Consider, first and foremost, all the ways he’s trashing the planet.
In pandering to his base last year, the president announced plans to pull out of the Paris climate accord, which would have required the United States to sharply reduce its carbon footprint by 2025. He likewise canceled NASA's carbon-monitoring research programs and disappeared once-publicly-available government information about climate change. In rolling back environmental regulations, Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency will make the air and water dirtier and expose more Americans to toxic chemicals and coal ash waste.

The environment will be Trump’s biggest and most irreparable pockmark.

The economy is likely to be the most painful for most. Both domestically and in terms of trade and in terms of the dollar being our good fortune.

Another area of severe damage will be goodwill toward the United States. That will be repairable to some degree because the United States will always remain the bastion of freedom for the world.

In the end Obama might have deported more illegals so that’s an issue that needs to be addressed in any case.

Trump‘s social injustice war doesn’t belong in politics in any case to a large measure so society will make its equilibration there despite political bickering.

Trump‘s disestablishment of the executive branch through doge is a long overdue streamlining of the government that he’s botching but needs to be done. So if anything that’s one of his plus points especially since the Democrats are unlikely to ever lift a finger in that direction.

His executive branch power grab is a long-standing tradition for presidents so that’s just part of the ebb and flow of our political system.

Pressuring Iran is a definite positive point for Trump.

Something needs to happen with the Houthis although he’s spending a fortune in military equipment to do it.

Peace in Ukraine is a positive initiative although he’s bungling that too evidently. It needs to be more peace through strength meaning supporting Ukraine more rather than less. Russians don’t respond to anything else.

Overall, I would say his damage to the environment is his worst, but that’s not atypical of Republican administrations. His damage to the economy will probably be pretty bad, but that remains to be seen. His damage to our international Goodwill will probably be pretty bad also. Probably won’t take decades to fix these things other than the environment. Mankind’s assault on nature may be unfixable with or without his perpetration.

Isn’t it interesting that when people shoot the messenger they apparently don’t realize that they’re insulting their own ability to independently think?
About as interesting as the fact that many on here must sit around and masturbate to naked pictures of their Supreme Leader

Oh yeah? Is “the environment” gonna punish us you pagan freak?

Yep. We have the best goodwill money can buy. I don’t think the goodwill is what you think. It’s a side effect of our largess. This was made crystal clear in Trumps first term as he pushed NATO to do more on its own. Without the U.S. Navy, all the combined navies of all of NATO put together couldn’t free the Red Sea from attacks by Iranian-backed goat herders. NATO isn’t an alliance, it’s a dependency.

Way to pull the typical Trump “deflect from the actual issue” move

I’m not deflecting anything. If you didn’t have such TDS, you might read the hypocrisy of this pedo

Among Bell's cartoons was a 2022 drawing entitled "The Groomer", which showed what looked like an elephant-like man facing a group of children and opening his coat, with the word "bigotry" tattooed on his chest — a not-so-subtle dig at Republicans, whose party logo is an elephant.

I agree on the largesse but more wrt to all our humanitarian largesse through the years. The world views our generosity as a fundamental aspect of our democracy, our free-willed spirit, our humanity.

Our economic and especially our military imperialism the world looks at with mixed emotions. That’s your NATO focus. Our military industrial complex has been a driving force of our world economic dominance beginning during WWII. Trump’s NATO focus along with his tariff fanaticism ignores that benefit to our detriment. His ignorance will undermine our economy in so many ways that neither he nor you seem to admit or confront.

What is to stop Europe from contracting with us for a few air aircraft carriers? They need to up their game. NATO is designed around the idea of Russian tanks charging into Europe. That’s not today’s world. The Suez is primarily a life line to Europe yet they ask us to defend it.

Europe got together and built a company to compete with Boeing, but they won’t do the same for defense. And they never will so long as we keep doing what we have done.

Your post has nothing to do with what you responded to. Don't become as big of a joke as some of the others on here
