I am a little worried about a torn ACL injury in December. He may not be 100% ready to play at the beginning of next season. And he may have lingering health issues the rest of his career, like Mo Creek, Colin Hartman, etc.

He shot 44% from three in AAU and is known for being a great defender. Tore his ACL last season but should be ready to go this summer.

Be cool to get him or Quinones and Watford. That would be one hell of a class especially if you add Brunk since he has 2 years remaining instead of just 1.

Sounds like exactly what we need. He’s gotta realize that if he truly can shoot that well and play great defense he’ll get a lot minutes at IU as a freshman.
The torn ACL is a legitimate concern in my mind, but if the medical prognosis says he’s fully cleared and good to go for next season, I’d love to have him. I just don’t see Watford or Quinones signing with IU, so Harris may be the only realistic shot we have in the 2019 class. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s my feeling on it.
Bank em for 2020..., and bring in 3 of the tallest guys on campus to fill out the practice squad...

Two excellent choices of programs, facilities and campuses. The weather sucked for his visit to IU unfortunately.

I'm a Carolina fan, and UNC did not offer or show much attention at all at first with him. IU went hard, and that should be a plus for IU. I think if Cole comes it's a bonus for Harris to choose UNC. He is a limited shooter with a very low start to his shot, but very strong dee, athletic kid. He reminds me of how Kenny Williams freed up after Shaka Smart left VCU and UNC gave some late attention, and it was done.
Williams being from Virginia, and having a very successful career at UNC, even as an after thought originally may help also. I do think it is IU or UNC. Cole's decision tomorrow is vital though for my guys to compete next year at the accustomed level. It may impact Harris as well, in any event good luck in the recruitment.

No, I do not think he would be featured much as a freshman. Very good chance one of the two main 2 guard grad transfer targets come and get significant minutes as well.
If early minutes as a freshman is high on his list, I think that works against UNC. The sales pitch would be more of a Kenny Williams like trajectory.
well, looks like they got Cole Anthony and interestingly they already had another PG recruit... Jeremiah Francis? I don't keep up with recruiting, but for some reason it's showing him as a 4 star but doesn't have a national or position ranking. It also says we recruited him and that he went to Pickerington HS in OH... isn't that were Hunter was from? Seems as though these events might help our cause unless Harris is OK with sitting his freshman year.
Francis had micro fracture surgery on his knee and missed his entire senior year. Hopefully he recovers well, that is the reason for his ranking lapse.
UNC is actively courting a couple grad transfers, especially 2guard Christian Keeling who was visiting today, which could have a more direct impact on Harris.
