Vijay has accepted a grad transfer to Lindenwood University.

The good news is Jager is back as a graduate manager.

Lindenwood's coach mentioned something about recruits falling out of the sky in August.
Interesting that Archie didn't offer a scholarship with one of our two openings. Would Archie rather leave the two spots open for a possible mid year transfer than keep Vijay for a final year?.

The other possibility is that Vijay wanted to go to a place he could play and mot just be on scholarship buried in the depth chart.

The real reason is probably something entirely different than any of us will ever know. He had options and made the decision best for him.

My guess is that Vijay wants to play and it wasn't going to happen at IU.

I don't want to read too much into it, but could it be Franklin looks good this summer and/or Hunter looks healthy and ready to play?
It would be excellent if both those were true but I don't have any inside information on how they're looking.

I don't think Vijay Blackmon leaving has much effect on the team. Seems to go without saying, but alas, here is a thread about him.

There was a summer scrimmage post on the premie that said Hunter was a full participant in them.

He still hasn't been cleared by IU but it's a really good sign if he's practicing I would think.
That is a big progression if he is scrimmaging with the team. I thought he was being held out of full contact activities.

Jager could suit up for practice if needed. I'm glad he is back on the staff.

I have been curious if Archie's practices will change this year with a more experienced roster. Anything we can do to limit wear and tear on our players would be a blessing for our injury situation
