I have primarily stayed on the sidelines and read many posts on this board relative to the pandemic, vaccinations and all the ugliness that comes with that discussion. I post these two articles as a means to provide more content around the topics. As difficult and apparently impossible for some to simply inform themselves without attacking an alternate view, I wanted to introduce these articles as a means to educate oneself. Whether you choose to believe the content of this information or it more solidifies a differing view, the basis of my providing this is to merely educate. I am sure for some reading an article by a medical professional rooted in a deep religious faith may be off putting. But do not allow her faith to take away from her experience as a medical professional and her views on medicine.
Both articles provide interesting content from professionals in their field that provide an interesting vantage point of vaccination strategy as well as treating those who contract the virus. Thanks.

I know you want to open up discussion to different points of view, but articles from Life Site News? Really? So if I post articles from Weekly World News, can I expect serious discussion, and implore people to not consider the source?
Your whole paragraph prior to your copied posts was nothing more than poisoning the well against anyone who might call bullshit.

So, go ahead and tell me about my closed mind.

You conveniently failed to address he first article, care to discredit it or it’s information?

Nah. After I read the well-poisoning paragraph, then saw lifesitenews.com, I knew what I would be getting into, especially when the second source is a newspaper founded by Sun Myung Moon. No need to press down if you burn your hand on the stove.

Willful ignorance then. It’s co-written by the inventor of mRNA vaccines, what could he possibly know?😂
Classic!

Willful discernment is more like it. I hope you practice the same.
So why don’t you want to read an article on vaccination written by the person that helped invent the technology? The only logical conclusion is that you would rather remain willfully ignorant than become aware of science challenging the potentially unfounded claims or bad policy of your party & comrades. Not a good look …

Honestly, I have no clue about these publications and their validity as a news source. Take it for whatever it’s worth to you.

So, if I google an article on how DeSantis is killing Floridians, and found a far-left story from, say, The Palmer Report, or Huffington, I could expect serious discussion?
You must be new.

I deny that possibility.
But you go ahead and swallow everything these "news" sites shovel out, all the while lashing out at those who you claim do the same.
I’m not swallowing anything, I‘m just willing to read & consider a dissenting opinion as opposed to the path of willful ignorance you have chosen. I’ll bet we won’t hear from folks like Courtsense either, whose constant bleating that the non-vaccinated are destroying the world loses credibility by the day. And you all have the temerity to call Trump’s followers sheep…

Lemme know when any of that happens for real . . . especially the shingles part. I've been vaccinated for that!

Neither article provides anything beyond opinions from the fringes.
I can agree that today, regardless of media source whether considered bona fide or otherwise, it’s very difficult to find information based on facts and science vs opinion or twisting facts and misapplying it.

What age do you get that vax?
65+ I think. You might ask for it when you go to the doc and get it at a younger age . . . Shingrix.

No Bells Palsy yet . . . nor any heart attack or stroke.

Yet.

BTW, Shingrix doesn't use a live virus like the other shingles vaccine does. Makes a difference to those with family members taking immune-suppressant biologics. Check with your stoker first, then your doc.

BTW2, my next door neighbor - an 70+ something woman who lives alone - had it for months and said it was far worse than childbirth - worse than any pain she's ever had otherwise.

Yup. I remember when tony Larussa had it. Said it was living hell

I did read the articles, and I did find them interesting and educational...but, maybe not for the reason the authors wanted.
Thanks for posting them.
You are currently arguing with a bag of hair and a bag of toenail clippings. Good luck.

I read both articles. Dr. Malone has impressive credentials, but his position regarding Covid vaccination is clearly a minority view among experts in the fields of immunology and epidemiology.

I respect Sr. Byrne's medical, military and religious service, but it's clear that her position is driven, probably exclusively, by her views on abortion. And the Life Site News article contains at least one important piece of misinformation: "With consistent success with early treatment using safe and effective drugs, Byrne said the focus on experimental COVID-19 'vaccines,' developed or tested using aborted fetal tissue, to the exclusion of proven therapeutics, has 'a bit of a diabolic flavor to it.'" This is not accurate. First, neither Pfizer nor Moderna used fetal cell lines in the development and production of the vaccine. They did use a fetal cell line, derived from an elective abortion in the Netherlands in 1973, in the confirmation phase. No fetal tissue (fetal tissue is obviously very different from a fetal cell line) was used in any aspect of development, production or testing of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

J&J, in manufacturing their vaccines, uses a fetal cell line descended from a 1985 Netherlands abortion. Again, a fetal cell line is not the same as fetal tissue, which is not used by any of the US vaccine manufacturers.

Finally, the Vatican earlier this year expressly permitted Catholics in good faith to receive Covid vaccines that use fetal cell lines in production or development.

Thank you for providing great content and perspective without personal attacks. Excellent addition to this discussion!

What you wrote in your Post 9 immediately above is a lot different than the following that you wrote in Post 1: "I wanted to introduce these articles as a means to educate oneself."

To educate us, you offered articles about which you now admit you "have no clue"
