that taunting call against Monster was complete bullshit.
I re-watched the game yesterday, basically just to see that play.
Matthews is in on the tackle, stands up - not 'over' the receiver - crosses his arms for maybe 1 1/2 seconds. The receiver gets up and trots back to the huddle, evidently not even seeing the 'taunting', and Matthews jogs away. The entire episode took maybe 3 seconds.
That is not taunting today - at all. Any more than a 1st down signal by a WR is after a play.
It didn't cost us the game, but it was a key call that helped influence the game.
