And on top of that, we still had a timeout left! Why were we scrambling to run a play after the conversion, after we went for it for whatever reason? Call a timeout! And even if we didn't have that timeout, tell Sorsby to spike the ball if we convert! Instead, we set ourselves up to get screwed over by the "intentional grounding" BS because we were rushing for no reason.
If the refs called that game fairly, we probably win it (especially if they don't inexplicably miss that absolutely egregious holding on MSU's touchdown), but we put ourselves into position for them to take the game from us with some absolutely baffling decisions.
