Tucker

FWIW.....read on btb that Tucker is in the doghouse, relationship with CMW has soured. His dad may be already out NIL shopping. Not sure what to believe about anything these days, but more than one poster commented about issues. I'd say he's gone unless new coach comes in fast and sells him on next year at IU.
already gone going to Maryland, and yes his dad got into it with Woodson

So what’s the deal?
It might be that Woody is just limiting his rotation to more experienced players. There have been times when I thought Tucker would be better in the game than MM, but I don't see what happens in practice. I do believe Tucker will develop into a more complete player than MM wherever they end up completing their eligibility.

Kids transfer too quick these days.
It's part of the problem with college basketball. You can't get the kids to work to overcome what they are doing wrong because they just leave.
They need stricter rules on transfers.

Offensive prowess? He’s 38% from the floor and 15% from 3 and a liability on defense. The bench is where he needs to be right now.
Every single shot chart graphic I’ve seen lately has eliminated the mid range game. Michigan, UConn, Alabama etc..look the same. Defensively they all try to guard you to take a mid range shot. It works. So Tucker is an easy sell to be on the bench.

I don’t understand the Tucker love. The dude has never passed the basketball once he’s caught it. He’s a black hole on offense. Catch. Back someone down to the midrange area. Shoot a fade away. He’s like Kobe Bryant expect his shot never goes in.

Kobe could do that all over the floor. Tucker seems like an uncoachable type. That’s my opinion. Not selling it as fact. Fact is he’s got a lot of work to overcome his game. High school was easy. Didn’t play AAU.

Yeah, I don’t know the details of the situation with his dad and selling him out to other teams and whether that is true or not, but what I’ve seen on the floor, I have no issues with him being out of the rotation at this point in the season.

That’s the rumor (no idea if it's true). They are shopping and his dad doesn't want him to get hurt.
Assuming the Rumor is true, if You are a Coach looking at players in the Portal, would You want this guy? A meddling Parent Who is shopping his Kid, even though his Kid has no history of production, and the Parent (in conjunction with the Coach?) is holding Him out because They don't want to risk injury. This is the guy Who is going to burrow to the bottom of the rabbit hole the first time something goes wrong. If You get late in the Year, and Your team has a losing record with little chance of making the Tournament, is this the guy Who will develop the hard to diagnose hamstring injury that just won't heal so He can sit out and avoid injury? Sorry, I'm not buying in.

Nope. And I'm not selling it. And to your point (I think), IU is playing thier best basketball without him. Maybe the Tuckers already have a deal in place.

If we learned anything from Creaning, it's that you cannot build a team by implementing a revolving door policy.

In year 4, Woodson has 2 recruits on this year's team outside of Tucker. He has 2 signed for next season's team.
