Tucker

100% disagree with you. Tucker is a freshman and looks very good. Solid game against MN inside and out. He will keep improving.
People sometimes forget that the game gets faster, defenders are better, everything is just at another level when moving from high school to D1. Suddenly every player is at least as good as the best you faced in a high school game. Freshmen need time to adapt before the game slows down for them.

Tucker could very well be our go to player in a year or 2. I dont even think CMW even knows how Tucker can fit in his system though yet! Tucker has a very nice shot and can create a good mid-range fade-away jumper. Almost kind of reminds me of a young Kobe Bryant type of mid-range. Tucker aint Even close to Kobes level, but if he can create a Kobe type of killer mentality on offense, sky is the limit for that kid! Unfortunately I don’t think CMW is good enough to coach him to that level either.

Most reminds me of Danny Manning. And he has the advantage of being able to create his shot and make it (still needs work on this, but the ability is there) I think that's what it takes for a wing to be more than a 3-pt decoy in this system. MM is struggling because his handle isn't good enough yet to create shots.

A hot take by me. I’ll admit to that.
MM can only shoot open 3s and contested 12/15 foot jumpers off the dribble. Nothing else.

Tucker has only shown he can shoot 12/15 foot jumpers off the dribble. Has quickness and athleticism but now idea how to play defense yet. Can rebound and plays with energy.

For quite a few seasons a post that is common is-Player (fill in the blank) is on the verge of break-out shooting. Hasn’t happened yet but maybe Tucker will be the exception. Guilty of it myself with MM.

all you do is coomplain
Read my posts about the Minny game. You’re wrong. I said it was a good game for the team. And I said I like Tucker’s midrange pull-up jumper. All you do is pretend things are good, when they’re good. And when they’re not, you go silent. Blind optimist vs realist. Personal choices. I’ve been in sales 30+ yrs. Hope and optimism doesn’t pay the light bill. Results do. I’m also a libertarian, so…to each their own.
