There are a couple more good/solid WVU kids too. Including Jonathan Powell, who was Cupps HS and AAU teammate. Interesting. Also a sophomore big that’s averaging 10 and 7.
He knew DeVries was gonna be the coach? Maybe he’ll still go to Maryland…but he sounded pretty indignant yesterday that people were saying he was leaving.
I bet if he and DeVries get on the same page, he’ll consider staying.

what do you know about him, is he all big 10 type or just a solid player, I've never seen him play
Interesting article on Fansided.com, sorry I can’t post it, about DeVries and who he is familiar with and could bring along or get out of the portal. His son already said he’s coming. Owen Freeman from Iowa, Kennard Davis from SIU, and All Wright, yes that’s his first name, from Valpo. All scorers and good shooters. Anybody that can shoot is a major improvement.

Do you have any insight behind that? It is a tall order to be certain, but wondering if you know something more.
According to the Illinois website, injured on Oct 22, did not start to practice until Feb 2, started playing on Feb 11. Averaged 14 minutes a game. You do not play someone that much if you do not want to--especially after 3 months off
Interesting that looking at some of the early entrants into the portal and there are several Hoosiers and Iowa born players near the top. Now we haven’t even begun to see who is entering so they won’t rank as high in the end.

Only listed him because his HS teammate, Powell, entered portal too. Obviously no idea if Powell will come to IU…but seems like a possibility. And if he does, seems possible Cupps might stick around to play with his HS teammate?
Cupps Dad was an advisor in Powells recruitment too, I’m sure. So guessing he liked DeVries enough to not advise Powell against playing for him.
Cupps Dad didn't steer him clear of Woodson. Is he really that perceptive?
The guards that don't play and/or can't shoot not only can go, but should go.

When he committed to IU, I thought: does he have no outside connection to the world?
Does he not know Woodson is the Coach and won’t be here next year? But this kid isn’t going to play for a coach or school. He’s just going to play for the money. So, highest bidder at this point.
I've seen MULTIPLE cocaine references about Tucker. I hope he never has a bad game for us, our fans will kill him for it, whether it's true or not.
