He's no longer able to get big money people to back him up and he can't do it himself. The only people willing to give him money anymore are the $100 per month rubes on his mailing lists.
Everything is online now. Streaming. Social Media. Etc. Starting an actual network/cable TV station now would be a sure fire failure. A quick path to bankruptcy.

Yeah but the youngins are all on IG and whatsapp is huge internationally I think. Facebook, Inc. isn’t going anywhere soon.
FB will end up buying the new "hip" thing if it can each time one pops up, like it acquired Instagram. It has to because while it was new & cool when I was in college, it's not now. It's definitely losing market share in the younger demos and even if the 30+ crowd will keep it going for the next 30 years, it has to get its fingers into more pies.
It’s pretty rich for media or anyone else give Trump hell about lies. All politicians lie to us every time they open their mouths.
Because the lion's share of journalism departments at Universities are liberal and they produce liberal journalists who occupy the lion's share of journalism gigs so we end up with a biased media. But that's immaterial to inept politicians. This has been a rough stretch and I suspect it will continue. Hopefully 2024 surprises us.
