Meaning, mice genetically altered to mimick the response of humans to experimental drugs for cancer, ALS, Parkinsons Disease, etc. Essential for all areas of drug discovery research.

Let me give you an example of transgenic mice in research. There are genes that are linked to the development of early ALS in humans, in particular C9orf72 and SOD1. Mice have been genetically engineered to lack functional C9orf72 or SOD1. Transgenic mice. They rapidly develop ALS-like symptoms, so we can use them to see if anything improves their symptoms, measuring things like grip strength and balance.

I agree with much of what you are saying. I personally can not stand many of Trump's antics. He is like many have said a counterpuncher. If you attack him , he is going to respond. Except he does not get even, he goes to extremes and gets ahead. Politics on both sides has become a game of one upmanship. I can't believe that Democrats or Republicans really stand for what the extremes of their parties espouse. Both are ridiculous.
Similarly, Ego Man wants to outlaw photogenic girls from entering a girls bathroom in high school.
