Trump turning

Why is milktoast in quotes spelled wrong?
Chris Farley Idk GIF

Because Trump failed third grade spelling?
Ha - yeah. I'd bet a lot of money that he heard someone else use that word fairly recently, it caught his attention and he thought he'd use it too. There is zero chance he has ever seen the correct spelling in print because 1) he spelled it 'milktoast' and 2) he's a moron that doesn't read.

The real question is why he remains over 20pts up AFTER the DeSantis announcment. You Republicans have a problem on your hands. Please handle it for the rest of the country.

Thanks in advance.

People aren't paying much attention and his opposition is splitting the opposing vote.

Lots of 'milk toast' Republican voters.

We ARE trying to help the country.

Clay & Buck have been blasting Trump over this for at least a half hour. Saying Trump is stupid and disloyal.

It continued for another half hour that I heard. Callers were either blasting C&B for critisizing Trump, or saying Trump should STFU and stop sowing dissension among the party faithfull.

DeSantis criticized Trump recently and made some good points, but I’m not sure it’ll matter.
Nope. Won't matter.

Regardless whether you think Republican primary voters are even smart enough to evaluate whether substantive criticisms of Trump are valid, several states have recently switched to "winner take all" primaries instead of their previous proportional system.

I don't have a list of which states have recently switched. But what this now becomes is that if Trump gets 51% of the Republican primary votes in the actual primary elections in those affected states, then he automatically gets 100% (not just 51%) of the convention votes originating from those newly-switched states. Previously, under the previous system in those same states, he would only have been awarded 51% of the convention votes because that's the percentage he would have received in my example.

Does anyone really think Trump will not get 45-50+ % from his base? I don't.

So in other words, when power hitters like Pence, Christie, Desantis, Scott, Hutchinson etc. jump into the primaries, they are merely diluting the vote for the also-rans, thus virtually ensuring that Trump will inevitably be awarded 100% of the convention votes from those states.

Now, see -- Mark spelled "dissension" correctly, but Trump can't even spell "milquetoast" correctly.

Can you imagine what would happen if Trump took a job in which he had to deliver an exhaust manifold No. NOE 6002439 to a small shop in Podunkville? He probably couldn't even sort out the state highway numbers and county road numbers and street address to get there, let alone verifying the manifold's correct part number. Too much "arithmetic" for Trump.
