Trump Tariffs

Gas station food is pretty awful.

The main exception is Buc-ee's. If you're down south, try the brisket.

At times while on road trips, I get a taste for real Nathan's hot dogs sold at some stations (Racetrac is one). They aren't bad in a pinch. But even then, you're better off taking a half hour to go to a real restaurant at the same exit. Even a Subway is a better option.

We have urban chestnut and Schlafly. I could drink no other beers for life. Stl sucks but we have solid beer
I do the voodoo ranger force stuff for everyday beer. Strong but not bitter. My neighbor made fun of me for drinking it. I bet him he couldn’t drink a 6 pack. He was so drunk his girlfriend banned him from ever drinking them again. I’m not her favorite person right now. 🤣🤣 now he loves them.

They still will be. Canada will not win this. I still can’t fathom “government run liquor stores”.
Of course they won't win this. And Trump couldn't care less if his actions destroy our ally's economy.

There is something Trump wants out of this leverage. Do you know what it is? He will get it too.

Beer should NOT taste like pumpkin, or like any fruit (other than perhaps a little hint of lime, ADDED fresh).

I’m asking you. I don’t know. I just know he has the leverage.
With Canada, I’m not sure it’s leverage. He hates Trudeau. Much younger and better looking than Trump. And Trudeau was caught on tape and audio with other world leaders laughing about Trump at an international summit during Trump’s first term.

That said, Trump would love Canada’s resources and couldn’t care less about its sovereignty. But even Trump probably understands that Canada becoming the 51st state is a pipe dream.

Trudeau is a hack and a crybaby. He’s not even popular in his country. It’s funny you mention his youth and looks. 😖 Only libs in the US like him. Trump absolutely doesn’t think Canada is a 51st state. He’s just talking sh!t and showing the goofy Trudeau who’s the boss. He doesn’t stand a chance.

Sorry. Given his history, I’m not willing to concede that it’s definitely shit talk.

Can’t be payin’ out state benefits to no losers ehhhh? (In my McKenzie brothers accent)
Just got back from the liquor store and asked some questions while I was there. The store is privately owned and none work for the state. However, the state tells them what they can and cannot stock.

There's a disconnect between the writer of the headline and what the article actually says. Oil and gas are hardly "exempt for now". The 10% tariff on Canadian energy will have significant effects.

From the article:

The 10% tariff on Canadian energy is a major development for an industry that almost unilaterally sells crude oil to the U.S. Canada Energy Regulator reported that in 2023 it sent about 97% of all its crude oil exports to the United States.

For U.S. refineries that are specifically tuned to Canadian oil, any costs associated with switching imports could lead to more expensive gas prices at the pump.
