Obviously he won't win it, but it might be fun to see him get one just to see the ways he'd come up with to monetize it.

He won’t get it because he doesn’t deserve it or because the Norwegians would never give it to him?
Speaking of which. Why do we allow a cadre self-important, non-contributing, former Vikings to arbitrate who has and hasn’t made greats strides in the world? Why should we put any stock in an award named after dynamite?
Seems another relic that should be cast on the dustbin of history. At the very least not worthy of our attentions.
The award is to be given to the person “who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations.”
The only way Trump loses this is if it’s stolen from him.
Well, "deserve" is subjective, and at any rate, it's too early to say if he deserves it. They won't make a decision until later in the year. Maybe he'll accomplish something worthy in that time.
But it would have to be huge. The Committee knows they got out over their skis in 2009, and since then, they've only awarded the prize to national leaders twice, both times to someone who had already been instrumental in ending a specific long-term war in their country.
If Trump genuinely ends up instrumental in ending the war in Gaza and/or Ukraine sometime in the next few months, maybe he'll have a chance. Otherwise, it's more likely to go to an activist or an NGO.

He “won” it. That Peace Prize had to be embarrassing for him. It was awarded essentially for not being GWB. It was a joke and he had to know it.

I just went back and watched that argument again. Trump actually reaches over and kind of pushes Zelensky's arm with his hand while he's arguing with him. Hilariously bizarre. I don't think we've ever seen anything like this in our nation's history, have we?
