I hate it with the heat of a thousand suns. I'm in a position where everybody reporting ot me is a manager of managers or a high level individual contributor (project shit).

I talk to them all multiple times a day. They get hundreds of performance reviews a year. they kjnow exactly where they stand. Performance reviews are guidance counselor worthless, which makes sense considering HR these days.

This shit is why I left a management position a decade ago. That and HR didn’t like my way of handling call ins. I don’t have time to write your ass up…my people are re-arranging the schedule and you ain’t on it.
