I put more state pride in the notion that the Indiana state of Indiana produces more D-1 ready prospect than any other state.

Unfortunately, that may also be in decline

Maryland is number one, producing 58 players per 100,000 college-age males, followed by Louisiana (52 per 100,000), Delaware (47), Tennessee (46), and Georgia (44). 148 players hail from Indiana-which has historically produced the most high-school All-Americans per capita. That's 43.4 per 100,000 college-aged males.

I was surprised that LA

was so high on the list.

No disrespect to the cajuns, just didn't expect it.
