Talked with someone from IU tix office and they said currently there are no travel packages that includes things such as tickets, hotel, tours etc. of the LA area. Anyone hear of such a promotion?

Just go.
Book flights, hotel and rental car (without tour markups).
Get seats on the west side. If you go behind the IU bench, (east), you will bake almost the entire game in the sun.
Arrive early and have something to nosh on after the game. Parking and the stadium are on two lane roads in and out to expressway, (but if you go to Bloomington, you understand the idiocy of thinking you can just stroll in 30 minutes before kickoff).
Just go.
