At a certain point in yesterday's game, Deron Davis started running down the court for a "breakaway" dunk. When he did it, I was scared to death he was going to hurt himself and I couldn't figure out why. I watched him a little more the rest of the half and I noticed that he locks out his knees frequently when he's running and even just walking or standing still. I'm not a doctor/kinesiologist/strength coach, but, if anyone is, isn't that pretty dangerous - especially for someone that big putting so much pressure on the knee joint?
