Hubert and Bigfoot can open a cigar store in their "retirement." They'll both have plenty of free time very, very soon.
the "insider' info on UNC is that they will give Davis another year and a big uplift in NIL to get them back to relevancy.

3 years removed from the title game.
Yet it takes us 4 seasons to finally say enough (I hope) because we made the tournament 2 years ago.
davis is surrounded by dedicated college bball assistants. they are likely to improve but will be swept if they dont.

North Carolina should have a top-10 coach in the sport. It doesn't currently. UNC needs to have serious conversations about Hubert Davis' future.

As far as a national narrative, that's probably accurate. But I imagine that's because UNC has been consistently a top program, where IU has spent 25 years in the crapper. If UNC goes on a 25 year run similar to IU then the narrative for them would shift as well.
I think it's time to get serious again and get back to consistently a top program.
Wish Iu had that kind of standard. This is Davis 4th season and has been national runner up and sweet 16

need Davis to stay another year. don't want the blue blood comp in coaching search as we'll lose.
