So what should we be looking for in regards to signings tomorrow?
Any certain number? Maybe a surprise flip or two? Maybe a grad transfer announcement?

I have no insider knowledge, but 3 star Jonathan King (DE) just listed IU as "Favorite" on a different site. He is from Tampa Bay Tech and a former teammate of Michael Penix. King had also visited Maryland and Middle Tennessee which are listed as "Warm".

In addition, I would expect James Miller (ILB- 3 star) who is a top target will be signing to FSU. However, there is some hope he will choose IU.

That's great news (about King)! On another site we were neck and neck with FL for him.

He's another class jewel (in my opinion) if he decides to sign with us tomorrow.

King and Miller are the two to watch tomorrow. There’s a couple of grad transfers that will announce later to keep an eye on.

The signing day event at the hall of champions will be before the upcoming Illinois basketball game.

If they get king, I’ll take him. This class should solidify the d line for years. They’re clearly doing this so that they don’t have to focus on it so heavily next year, and so that they can start rebuilding the OL with the 19’ class. I like the strategy. Makes sense

Agree next year probably grab 5 OL. There was plenty on the roster and taking a small amount this year will not leave any gaps.

But do not agree they will be rebuilding starting in 2019. Just let these guys already on the roster continue to grow. They will improve and as stated in other threads many of them are in there 3rd year together so this year should be much better and next year should be really good. This year is on Hiller if he is as good as his resume this group could surprise this year. Plus the David Ballou factor.

I 100% want Hiller to be successful b/c it means IU is successful. I know some past players have gone onto the league but I'm not sure his past resume is that off the charts in world of OL in college football either. That said, this year's team was young and not much experience. This season will be a year of experience older, spring/summer with new S/C coaches, and Hiller's season 2 so even he'll be more seasoned with IU & talent. (Plus I hope the emergence of Caleb Jones, all 6'8, 370 of him!)

But I definitely don't think IU will be in "new rebuilding mode" in 2019. The offense now has a lot of young talent who is returning and now adding good talent in the pipeline, some of which are going to be able to RS. The defense is still returning playmakers who played, but will have to replace some great graduates, especially at LB. But like the offense, there are still returning significant contributors and for sure young talent emerging in the pipeline (especially in the Def Backfield).

So no, I don't anticipate a big rebuild but rather a full "Re-Load" by then!
