Not even close but he needs to hire someone to fix and run the playcalling and o line. Crean is a joke and Allen clearly has made a couple of mistakes he needs to fix.
And he needs to make a big change during the bye week. Might as well promote someone to try and salvage the season before it’s too late.
I hope not, bit his in-game coaching is surely worse. I've probably seen more head scratching decisions in Allen's short tenure than I've seen in my entire life of watching non-Allen football.
IU hired someone with no college head coaching experience. He is is still on a steep learning curve and he must have a really good OC. Unless he does something illegal or grossly immoral, Allen will be IUs coach for at least the next 4 years.

It actually appears to be…I don’t get it. Our defense is as good as we’ve ever had, arguably. Our offense is as average as we have had.
