I have not seen him play at all.
Comparisons to former Hoosier greats?
Henderson?
Jefferies?
Haston?
Zeller?
Thanks

Hopefully the Turner playing in the second semester of his junior year, and not the one residing in RMK's dog house prior to that.Maybe Turner.
Of the lost championships from injury what that team Landon's SR yr might have been gets lost and not talked about like Henderson and May or even Kitchell as a SRHopefully the Turner playing in the second semester of his junior year, and not the one residing in RMK's dog house prior to that.
For all of the NBA talent on that team, I really think that Landon might've been the most terrifyingly talented and potentially dominant of them all. I'm saying this knowing that Wittman, Kitchel, Tolbert and Isiah were all starters with Landon.
Good, I can’t wait to see him put up 17 ppg!Better than Romeo, we can hope.
It's better than putting unrealistic expectations on the young man.great insight
Romeo had a broken hand.He needs to work on his outside shot. He always had shooters on his HS team, so he always posted up. He has a very quick first step. He can spin and cover 10 ft. and a dunk in one burst. His rebounding and shot blocking ability are 5 star. The only game I saw him get schooled in this year was against Isaiah Stewart. IS is a man. He shoved TJD around. Trace will be fun to watch.
From now on, everyone needs to learn a lesson from Romeo. Don't expect anything from freshmen, then you won't be disappointed.

Romeo had a broken hand.
dumbI heard his entire arm was broken along with a torn ACL, which is why he didn’t move much on offense this year.
The urban legend of excuses grows......
I've seen him play several times over the past 2 years. Your analysis is spot on. Once Trace learns to play hard the entire time he's on the floor, he should be quite a force. Brings a defensive presence we haven't had for a long time. In fact, I can't really remember the last really good rim protector IU has had. Trace will do that from Day 1. Offense will develop over time. He's got good mechanics. Just a matter of putting up 500 jumpers a day. He'll be fun to watch. He needs to work on his outside shot. I highly doubt Archie will be here for a “few” more seasons.STFU feepaw. I’ve seen TJD play multiple times and he’s got real skills. He’s also not a 1 and done. He’ll be the guy that CAM builds his team around for the next few seasons.
I highly doubt Archie will be here for a “few” more seasons.
And Romeo didn’t have “real skills”?
I never said he didn’t have real skills. I just said let’s let him be himself and not set him up to fail with unrealistic expectations like so many did with Romeo.Hey dumbass. Where did I say that Romeo didn’t have “real skills”? Does it hurt to be this stupid? Do you wear a helmet? Finally, whether or not CAM is here or not for a few more seasons is TBD. He’s got 2 more seasons for sure unless there’s some scandal or they go like 10-20 next year,
Why's it dumb? I'm sure the his damaged wrist didn't help, but Romeo's not the player he was hyped to be.dumb
... and disappear in most big games!Good, I can’t wait to see him put up 17 ppg!

I guarantee y’all make the tournament this yr
I think you mean everyone needs to re-learn a lesson from Romeo. On the other hand, "back in the day," the talent gulf between H.S. hoops and the NBA was somewhat like the Pacific Ocean: Broad and deep. Now, I think what Calismarmy has demonstrated is that when you are watching a potential Mr. Basketball or an actual Mr. Basketball, you are seeing NBA-level talent in a high school gym.He needs to work on his outside shot. He’s a down low banger type guy. He will be the leader of your team. I guarantee y’all make the tournament this yr, and as long as he gets some help he will be excellent. He’s a damn good player. Plus, Archie won’t have to cater to his every need like he did with Romeo because his dad wanted to make sure Romeo was the man all year. That killed team chemistry: it was like having lavar ball, but he quietly told Archie would he demanded for his son. Once kids are on a team the parents need to stay out of it. Romeo was gonna be OAD regardless, but romeos dad didn’t help the situation. With what you have coming in, and a stud like tjd down low and Archie not having to cater to certain players, I truly believe you will be a lot more successful next season and make the tournament.
When you watch McDonald's All-Americans and Indiana Mr. BB you are potentially seeing NBA talent in a HS gym. Elite Talent HS Players are more prepared for the NBA today than they were 20 years ago.I think you mean everyone needs to re-learn a lesson from Romeo. But, in general, I think your point is valid.
I think TJD is ahead of DJ White as a HS SeniorI'm expecting another DJ White. He's obviously a different player than DJ but talent wise hopefully they're pretty similar.
