Finishing the season with 670 points, Trayce passed Eric Gordon with his final basket to end with the most points in a season by an IU player since 1995.

On his final shot block, he got within 1 (92) block of Dean Garrett's 1987 excellence.

Finishing with nearly 11 rebounds per game, TJD finished the season with the most rebounds by a Hoosier since 1972 (Steve Downing).

Remarkably, in his last 6 games, TJD averaged 24.7 pts, 10 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks per game to lead the Hoosiers in every category.

TJD's 4 apg is the most by any IU forward since 1996 Big Ten POY Brian Evans had 4.1.

Remarkable that he did all of that in one year.

Trayce was named player of the year finalist too.

He joins Zach Edey (Purdue), Drew Timme (Gonzaga), and Jalen Wilson (Kansas) as the men's finalists.

He has been named a Karl Malone Award Finalist, to the Oscar Robertson Trophy Late Season Watch List, the John R. Wooden Men's National Ballot, and the Naismith Trophy Defensive Player of the Year semifinalist list. TJD was also a unanimous choice for the All-Big Ten First Team by the coaches, media, and Associated Press while also collecting All-Big Ten Defensive Team accolades.

Fans will once again be able to support their favorite finalist through the Naismith Awards Fan Vote presented by Jersey Mike's, which runs Tuesday, March 21 through Tuesday, March 28 at naismithfanvote.com. The fan vote will account for five percent of the overall final vote. Fans may also visit the @MarchMadness Twitter page to vote for their favorite men's player.

Statistically he should win POY but probably won’t be him due to team’s overall record and early exit. Have they already voted or do they wait until after the tourney?

Proud of my CG guy. He exemplifies everything we love about sports. Comes home for virtually every Trojan football game to support his HS. Brought Race with him most of the time. Two great guys we will really miss. It’s just a shame the Hoosiers didn’t win big while they were here.
