I posted on Twitter last night that I expect both Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson to return to IUBB next season. Here is why. NIL deals cannot be structured with limitations for athletes to any particular school or that they be in school. I was told by a source very close to the situation that Race Thompson's deal is for $150K. If this is the case then why would HFG spend this kind of money on a kid from Minnesota if he were leaving the program? I was not given numbers for TJD but, my thinking is if he is getting paid what his comparative value would be, still six figures but a different starting digit, his deal also also only makes sense if he is staying at Indiana....
