Oh geez. Just saw online. What crappy timing for the kid.He has Covid.
I wonder if this will actually end up helping his draft stock? I imagine he'll show well in all the individual measurable stuff. Really well actually. Playing in that environment could go either way for Trayce. Those games are largely up and down, 1, 2 pass, go make a play type environments. They do set up things for certain people at times, but it would be incredibly rare that TJD would have much of anything in the same fashion he succeeded at IU. Maybe he would end up thriving in that environment, which would certainly boost his stock. But I think just as likely, he'd come across as awkward, and not comfortable in that environment. He has Covid.
Doubt it is nothing more than poor timing. He runs well and I think he would do well in that type of setting. Plus he can show his defense. I think this ends up hurting him. If I remember right, Cody didn't participate in 5 on 5, and while he was a likely first rounder coming in, his individual measurables sky rocketed his stock prior to the draft.
I think he needed every opportunity to showcase his skills. Even if he wouldn't have shined in 5v5, I think he needed to over preform to stay in. Jumping high and running fast aren't making him go from 75 to 35.Doubt it is nothing more than poor timing. He runs well and I think he would do well in that type of setting. Agree.I think he needed every opportunity to showcase his skills. Even if he wouldn't have shined in 5v5, I think he needed to over preform to stay in. Jumping high and running fast aren't making him go from 75 to 35.
Now if a GM saw him work 5v5 for 2 hours? He might say, Ill take you at 35 for sure.
Individual workouts mean more anyways.I think he needed every opportunity to showcase his skills. Even if he wouldn't have shined in 5v5, I think he needed to over preform to stay in. Jumping high and running fast aren't making him go from 75 to 35.

5 on 5 would have given him an opportunity to go against players with similar draft prospects, could have made a difference.Individual workouts mean more anyways.
true ... but I never said it wouldn't. Individual workouts often have other players involved, including defenders.5 on 5 would have given him an opportunity to go against players with similar draft prospects, could have made a difference.
I disagree (if you meant he was faking the covid). How convenient!
That's exactly what I meant!I disagree (if you meant he was faking the covid).
I think this is a really tough break for him, right when he needed to play great for a few days.
And what benefit would he have by faking Covid? Makes no sense to me?That's exactly what I meant!
That's good. When Lucy starts making sense to you is when you should worry. And what benefit would he have by faking Covid? Makes no sense to me?
Guaranteed? I don't think you can "guarantee" anything. But you can try to convince people if you provide a compelling anecdote.TJD is coming back for his senior season, guaranteed.

Strong chance you are correctguaranfreakingteed.
I think he will be back but I will not say bank it. Nothing is for sure.Guaranteed? I don't think you can "guarantee" anything. But you can try to convince people if you provide a compelling anecdote.
