Dolson needs to fire Woody and go get his guy. IU basketball is unwatchable and a laughing stock. Sad but true. Woodson has top resources and continues to fail. Same things over and over.

Buckner hired woodson. Scott's hands were tied. Different president then. The new president backs Dolson. Look what that did for our football program. This isn't on Dolson. This is on buddy boy Quinn
His mistake was pulling the plug on Archie before he had gotten anything concrete from Brad. He should've locked him up first then we're never in this predicament.
Yes, Scott was the AD when Woody was hired, but it’s pretty clear there were other influences.
Glass didn’t even interview Woody in 2017. He made no sense for the IU job. Four years pass and Woody is still stuck as a NBA assistant, and he gets the IU gig.

Archie wasn’t coming back regardless
The overwhelming feeling I get from this staff. Total lack of preparation. No improvement during the season. No good in game adjustments. Today was an embarrassment. The so called staff has little to offer.
Oh, Whitten approves of Buckner, trust me. Buckner is the only higher up that supports her. Faculty, staff, and a lot of students want her gone. She has a fence around Dunn Meadow to keep students out in fear of protests. That would’ve never happened in my day.

Watch his team win the Maui. Then, watch them go win the SEC and make a deep tourney run. I'd take him for 7 years and get us rolling and while the return is happening, identify his replacement.
He will have a better season this year and continue to improve at Rhody. I believe that.
I have tried really hard to stick with Woody. What I saw yesterday from the players was pathetic. What I saw from Woody in the press conference was even worse. "I gotta figure out how to get these guys over the hump." is, in his own words, an admission that he cannot motivate a team to play hard.
This game has passed him by. We need a new coach with energy and talent. We need to kiss the ring and let him go back to retirement while he helps find the next coach.
Quinn's term as Chairman is up next year. He got his buddy around $15M more than he could make as an NBA assistant. Quinn is a partner at a wealth management firm -- I don't know but I could guess who is a client there. I can only hope his influence on the bball side is done.
Losing is one thing we are accustomed to at IU. Transforming the brand is the new normal. The brand is now Missouri or Georgia basketball. Living at .500 in perpetuity.
“Over the hump” was his generic presser message last year too when we were getting blown out.
Not sure, I don’t follow it. I know six trustees are governor appointees and three are elected. The board selects their Chair(wo)man. Someone closer to IU would probably know.
If they get blown out again today it will make their chances of getting in the tourney a lot lower and that will be an end of year decision most likely.
If they win today, they can build on the loss.
