Three runs after two outs in the 9th propel the Terps to a 17-15 win over PSU...

If you haven't been catching the game on the BTN, PSU was down 3-0 and scored seven runs in the bottom of the 2nd. It's still 7-3 in the T4th, but the Terps can erase that deficit in a flash.

Iowa is up on NW, 5-0, in the B3rd.

Ther Terps strung 3 singles and a double together to get 3 runs in the 4th. The teams have combined for five errors on the game up to this point with the Terps having three errors.

Iowa who is chasing both IU and Maryland, is up big on NW 10-0 in B4th.

In the 6th, the Terps have committed their fourth error of the game and PSU has scored 3 runs so far. The one area that the Terps have that is considered their weakest spot is their bullpen and Dean left the game back in the 5th, going 4.1 IP.

Terps went to the bullpen and the next batter doubled to make it 12-6. A single scored another run to make it 13-6 at the end of the inning. The Terps can score runs in bunches so three more innings is a long way to go against them.

In the 7th, a shaky PSU bullpen put runners on in just about every way possible as the Terps struck for 6 runs to move within one at 13-12 PSU.

In a battle of shaky bullpens, PSU had the bases loaded with no outs in the B7th and they plated two runs to make it 15-12.

Maybe you guys will listen to me finally that Mercer does not teach hitting well. Even PSU's middle of the road line up beat up on the Terp's pitching. Only Mercer could make them look world class.

Want further proof? Those two guys who shut IU out in first PSU game got torched by Maryland tonight.

Terps offense and PSU's lack of pitchers will make this an easy Maryland sweep. IU needs a sweep as well and have my doubts Mercer can pull it out. IU could be in the driver's seat if they had hit PSU and Maryland's pitching like every other team. Because Mercer is the only clown who cannot figure it out IU is behind 8-ball for title.

Sweep the PSU series and get at least one from Maryland earlier and it is easy title. A normal coach would have done this. Mr. Hitting Coach Mercer though managed to be only coach in league to make these pitchers look world class when they suck and IU is behind eight ball because of it. You don't deserve a conference title when this stupidity happens.

Congrats to Maryland on being a FAR better coached team. They absolutely deserve it.
