Three Plays I Would Like to Have Back

I can add a couple.

The broken thumb play.

The Sarratt long ball drop in the second half against UM because that seemed to fuel a false narrative that we sucked against an inferior Michigan team.

Would have given us another double digit W and pulled us very close to the spread. Plus the havoc on D that could have resulted if UM was forced to throw the ball more in that second half.

The fumbled snap and blown return coverage at Ahia and the Love run at ND.

Not saying it changes either outcome but would sure like to see it play out.

Such a great season
I'd throw in the Rourke interception at ND in the 1st half: that would take care of the long ND TD run as well. Maybe if IU scores first and gets some mojo on their side, they play better?

Yes, that was huge, because it was early and our defense had just turned them over. Why Rourke tried to thread the ball in near the goal line, rather than seeing he had a receiver wide open on the left sideline, we’ll never know. Big game pressures cause you to make mistakes.

On the flip side of the coin, I think Keishawn Williams' punt return versus Michigan might very well have been the most important play of the year!! It was very late in the game and allowed Indiana to score a FG along with much needed momentum.

It was a good pick though. Guy made a play. Usually that's incomplete, giving only your guy a chance. I doubt Rourke even thought of that outcome. But it sucked. First down wasn't it? It's the one I'd like them to have back. That and the OSU false start. Maybe a couple other slightly off throws against ND.
Agree. I guess I tend to look at plays we screwed up.
