Three players from the PAC-12. What do you think? Doesn't mean anything or an advantage?
I like it. The three didn't play on the same team, so they don't bring a shared culture that would have to change and fit in with the rest of the team. The three obviously know each other and know a lot of the players that will be on the PAC-12 teams joining the league.
I don't believe familiarity of each other or the opponents individually offers a big advantage, but it is collectively a positive development. I doubt it was part of the recruiting strategy, but I would think the possibility of it turning out with this scenario was a happy coincidence and the icing on the cake..
I'm hoping for a smooth transition and blending of all the players. The earlier that happens, the better we will be.
