This isn't about being unmotivated because of money or any of that other crap. It sounds good but it's garbage. This is 100% about being what amounts to a bad and poorly run AAU program.

This is what it looks like when your coaches don't have a clue. It's what it looks like when the kids don't know what to do to fix a bad system that is doomed to fail no matter the talent. It's what it looks like when the kids know the coaches give them no chance to win. It looks chaotic and lethargic. You've all seen this at the club and high school level. Haven't you? Well, I have, and this is exactly what it looks like. Nothing more, nothing less.

What Liam McNeely said was super evident last night - just making shit up going one on one isn't real basketball. You could see us doing that all night long, usually ending in a missed fade away jumper. Illinois moved the ball and themselves and let their offense create the space to shoot and the cracks to attack and the room to cut.

It's a garbage organization and the players, some of whom aren't high IQ players to begin with, are screwed. Period. It's 100% garbage coaching. It will never matter how much is spent on players or which players are brought in. Ever.
