There are, but this was all controllable by IU on the court. Way too many blowout losses. Struggled to beat too many cupcakes. No signature wins. Gaming the system doesn't fix any of that. We couldn't blowout the bad teams we played as is and we were absolutely destroyed way way too many times in losses.

BOOM. Developing the bench vs screwing our Net rating. Seems like that was the trap we fell into. Meanwhile B12 teams are rolling up the scores in Nov/Dec.

Plus losing a lot of games we should have won, and some we should have been more competitive in vs getting drilled by 15+.

Right. We could could have fixed our NET ranking in Jan and Feb, but it went down. But we started the year way below B10 teams who weren't better than us.

Just read where Lunardi thinks Ohio State can sneak into the field with 2 wins in the tournament(one being a win over Illinois). We beat Ohio State not once but both times this year and yet again we are not even in the conversation. ?????

If we somehow win four games and win the conference tourney, we may be put into the last four in and have to play again on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then two days later if we win, and then another two days later. An about impossible task. I think it puts our teams in a tough spot to play all the way to Sunday, and then with only a few days of rest.

Middle of MAC/MVC group of guards. Woodson, fhats a fireable offense with the NIL you work with. But then again, you have bullet proof vest all around your body and mouth.

Indiana was 94 in NET coming in to yesterday's games. Maryland #77 beats Rutgers and moves up to #72 to give IU another Q1 win (for the time being). IU promptly drops from 94 to 96.

IU has a better Q1 resume/winning % at 4-8 than these teams who are considered locks/right side of the bubble:

Alabama 3-8
Gonzaga 3-6
Virginia 2-7
Colorado 2-5
