This isn't about being unmotivated because of money or any of that other crap. It sounds good but it's garbage. This is 100% about being able to get away with what amounts to a bad and poorly run AAU program.

It's what it looks like when the kids know the coaches give them no chance to win. It looks equal parts chaotic and lethargic. You've all seen this at the club and high school level. Haven't you? What Liam McNeely said was super evident last night - just making shit up, iso, going one on one isn't real basketball. You could see us doing that all night long, usually ending in a missed fade away jumper. Illinois moved the ball and themselves and let their offense create the space to shoot, the room to cut and the cracks to attack.
It's a garbage organization and the players, some of whom aren't high IQ players to begin with, are screwed. Period. It's 100% garbage coaching. It will never matter how much is spent on players or which players are brought in. Ever.
