there's been a Kannan Carlyse sighting in Bloomington

I know I'm going to slack for this but I don't like Carlyle. He has a attitude about him and a selfishness with the ball he is going to shoot no matter what. Will see what happends the rest of the way.
haven't seen that, plays harder than anyone else on the floor, does seem to have a bit of an attitude but that might be a good thing

You could be right just feel like if he doesn't get going he gets frustrated so it's important he gets a couple to go down. His defense was probably the best on the ball tonight.

He reminds me a lot of Ricky Calloway before the knee blowout.

Would love to see him getting a screen and some motion to catch at or just below the free throw line where he has the option to explode to the rim or rise up for an easy 12 footer.

he does have a nice midrange jumper from the FT line area. Really gets off the ground and quick release.

2 - Things I will give you props for!
1 - You are consistent with you posting!
2 - You will never be called a Sunshine pumper!

I was called a Purdue fan from one of my co-workers for saying Woodson is a terrible coach. I told him that I can root for IU and always will, but that doesn't change the fact that the man can't coach. Go IU!!

not sure how 'telling' the Nebraska game will really be. They won at Creighton, then went to East Lansing and got curb stomped. They are not a good shooting team, both from 3pt and overall (44% overall, 29% from 3). I think it's partially because we've really struggled out in Lincoln in recent years. And in road games, in general. But if this IU team is going anywhere, it's a game we need to win.

Looking at the schedule, the month of January will make or break this team. 5 B1G road games. And we likely won't be favored in any of them. Plus three tough home games(MD, RU and IL). Then we start Feb with a return trip to our hall of horrors....Kohl Center. Circle Feb 5 on the calendar and let's see where this team stands. By then, we'll know where this program is heading.

He looks to me like he has a great positive attitude. Seems to have some bad ass in him too. I like him. If him starts shooting well I am really going to like him.

I have no problem with an IU guy who plays with a chip on his shoulder. As long as he isn't grabbing or punching anyone's balls.
Honestly our program has been sorely lacking that junkyard dog mentality. Not advocating a style of play that looks like goon ball (have enough of that in the B1G already) but wouldn't mind seeing more IU players walking out for the opening tip looking like they were pissed off and ready to take it out on the other team's ass. my 2 cents.

Agreed, he really hasn’t lived up to the press coming in. Yet.
Your right about the press clippings, last year he's computer metrics said he was 1100+ player in the country???
Before this game, he was the 999 rated player in the country with a Box BPR -0.15, now he is all the way up to #767 with a Box BPR of 0.67! Last summer, he was a first rounder! For your info: Boogie Fland is rated #74 player with a Box BPR of 3.72. No. 1 Kam Jones of Marquette ghas a Box BPR of 7.07!

Love the info. Do you pay for a website with this information?
