Cal St. Fullerton which is a team that has been a national power for years. I haven't researched what they have coming back this year, or what they have done so far this season, but a good showing against them would be a big positive as we near conference play. In addition to playing Cal St. Fullerton here, Long Beach St. will be playing here late in the season. It's good to get some of those west coast teams agreeing to come here.

Cal state Fullerton (9-6) is coming off a series sweep of #13 Texas Tech (CWS participant last year), and they have two excellent starting pitchers in Eshelman and Garza (both projected top rounders in MLB draft this June). Eshelman a bit of a Greg Maddox type, won't blow the gun up but has tremendous movement and hits his spots. Garza is the big arm (90-95), and great movement as well. Both ground ball pitchers as they have great sinking action. It's a great opportunity to play a historic college baseball program in your own house, and it should be a fun and highly competitive series.

This series will be a good test for the Hoosiers.

The team has looked pretty good once they played in good weather. This weekend we will see how good.
