This happens in all sports at all schools.
We had tons of turnover in baseball at Indiana. We had three scholarship players told to find another place to play my senior year. I bet if you look real close you can find a few football players "Creaned" every year as well (dws).
Coaches recruit the players they think can help and then try and find more players to help next year. Unfortunately, some recruits just don't work out.
I have to believe Priller and April both understood from the beginning that they may only be at IU for one year. Even with this knowledge, they both chose to attend IU and will forever be a part of IU history. What a great experience.
Let's enjoy the day and hope the Hoosiers and Tom Crean give us a ride to remember next year.
