So been flipping and a Sopranos early yrs marathon leading to a new HBO movie. The Many Saints of Newark.

I don't watch any of the new series on the premium channels. I get them for movies but Sopranos was good

Arguably the best show of all time. Was disappointed in Saints…

Just watched this last night. I think they would have done better turning this into like a 4-6 episode miniseries rather than a 2.5 hour movie. The storyline was fine, but they couldn't develop it with any depth like Soprano fans were accustomed to.

The chick from Italy was 🔥

That's a bummer. I was looking forward to it
I thought it was decent. Not great, but definitely worth watching if you are a Sopranos fan. The 2-hour format means that storylines are more compressed compared to the original series. So the movie ends up having a much different feel to it. The cinematography is exceptional.

Good info. I'll definitely watch it. We binged it during Covid so it's all still "new" to us.

The Sopranos was certainly at one time the best show on TV. I tried watching it again not that long ago, but I couldn't get past all of the Tony/Psychologist scenes. They just drag way too much the 2nd time around. They should repackage The Sopranos with those scenes cut back by 75%. That'd be a good show.

Fully agree. I fast forwarded most of them on rewatch.
