Terrible speech already, but I don't think the Dems are helping themselves by trying to upstage him.

This isn't a stump speech. He's speaking before a joint session of Congress. And using all his time to simply state blatant falsehoods, beg for adulation, and demonize the opposition.
Were you the bleeding heart liberal concerned about foreign policy? Sadly, I think domestic issues are far more concerning and the Ukraine bit may be a distraction from what's happening domestically.

Politics are politics. The reality is the separation/ disparity that currently exists now between Republicans and democrats is so far apart it’s not funny, we are either too liberal or too conservative. I actually miss the days when politics was actually for the people and not against. I understand why Trump has imposed tariffs, but it’s actually hurting the Americans. NAFTA was his republican predicessor G.W Bush. Clinton deregulated banks. But at least their aim was to help the people. Middle class included difference of variation, lower middle, middle and upper middle class. Now those same three has dwindled to middle class and poor. So I just don’t get it. Instead of spiting one another over dems or repubs why don’t we actually work together to solve problems and have intellectual conversations and solve problems together, rather than getting in to a childhood pissing contest.
Tariffs are taxes. Trump wants to lower income tax and raise tariffs. What is the real problem here. Lowering taxes on working and raising taxes on consuming might be a good idea.
Noodle and Goat had full on freak outs. That’s about it.
