The key to success on the football field

Defense is a must but get an offense that can sustain long possessions allows a defense to stay off the field longer. Defense in football is the one sport where the less they are actually playing, the better they end up being. If IU had anything that resembled a competent offense the last couple of years, they would've been a top 25 team.

Pretty sure that the Randle El team would have been a top 15 squad with a decent defense. I watched in person as they took Michigan and Purwho to edge and the defense screwed the pooch.

Antwaan Randle El's last year at IU ended up having a decent defense and winning 4 of the last 5 games to finish 5-6.

Probably would have been bowling if not for the ARE to WR fiasco to start the season.

Not sure why the insults but you seem to have a very bad grasp of that season.

They beat Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan State, Purdue and UK.

They actually lost some of the easier games (NC State and Utah) and had a horrible first half of the season.

I haven't been on the board that much longer than you, but I have a hunch this is the poster previously known as Ordfan and about 20 other user names - - this time pretending to have writing difficulties. Look at the number of posts just since his start date eleven days ago - - that's a telltale sign it's him (when he's not banned, the guy posts nonstop). Also, people with serious writing challenges tend to avoid writing at all costs. I smell a fraud.

P.S. Looks like he just took the offensive post down (or someone did it for him).

The officiating of the NC State game was not
exactly stellar as I recall.
