Thanks To Stu Jackson

Stu Jackson was a part of our first staff at TheHoosier.com and over the last three years has done a very good job of covering IU football and basketball and coordinating almost everything involved with our preseason basketball magazine, Hoosier Hoops.

This was Stu’s first full-time job after graduating from the Sports Journalism program at Indiana. Initially, we had three requirements for him— a strong work ethic, a great attitude and the willingness to take coaching. He delivered on all three.

Last week, Stu informed me that he was taking another step in his dream to cover pro sports by accepting an internship with the Los Angeles Rams. He is on the road to LA now.

We want to thank Stu for all his efforts at TheHoosier.com and wish him the best in all he does.

He was/is a direct reason why the site is failing. Not an opinion, since peegs jumped ship the membership rate has plummeted. Just check how often people are posting these days on the premium form. It is not a good thing when the free forms are much more active than the premium board. He would not take constructive criticism and hated confrontation. The people that he wants to be like in his profession have thick skin, his is thin.

I know, now. When he has a chance to actually still see it. He is the reason I am not on the premium board, I was there long before he came. So he did save me 100 bucks a year, or cost rivals 100 bucks a year. However you wanna look at it.
