Taking my grandson to Bloomington

My 14 year old grandson and I will be touring Campus on Thursday and we hope to get a peak into Assembly Hall and Cook. Will they both be open? I last visited campus in 2000, and I would love to hear your advice on any fun and interesting things that we should do. My grandson lives in Michigan so I'm making this tour an un-official recruiting trip. He's a great student and a decent soccer player and so far I think I have him in the Hoosier fold.
