Swanigan

Business move...that's all folks! Let's be honest would you go to IU if you were a 4-5? Why not go somewhere and become the primary person? Make sense?1-3 I would go to IU all day under Crean. Haas horrible?? Top 5 most efficient player in the nation.
Well, let's be honest. Zeller, Vonleh and now Bryant will all got drafted playing as the big man at IU. Zeller was 4th overall and Vonleh was 10th or right around there. Bryant will likely be a borderline first or early second round pick. That's better than Painter has done. Let's not act like Painter is some big man guru.

None of those IU bigs got better under Crean. They were at their best the day they stepped foot into their first Crean practice.

Drunk already I see. You may have a problem.

All of them got better under Crean. I'm sure you think Swanigan was developed by Painter, huh? Swanigan would have been just as good literally anywhere else he went. The delusions are strong the GBI circle jerk.

You seriously can't be this bad of a homer? Not one person will say less touches, development, decision making makes you a better developer of bigs. Touches per possession in the paint without a doubt goes to Purdue which in return gets better with all of those things. IU possessions are compiled of the guards to create and find slashers to the basket. Name one big who became better with their back to the basket under Crean? Biggie became a better passer, back to the basket and yes his turnover ratio went up because of exactly the amount of touches he gets. Just like your guards!

Lol. Ask any basketball analyst or professional and they'll all agree that the players I listed developed under Crean. I get you're a homer, but give me an f'ing break. Again, Swanigan, Zeller, Bryant and Vonleh all got better while in college.

Ummmm . . . no. You can believe that if you want, but TB was a far more effective low post player when he arrived at B'town than he was this past year, and Cody didn't get better as a basketball player . . . I think he regressed while at IU, in terms of his at the basket effectiveness . . .

. . . he got loads better in his athleticism - which is what got him top three status in the draft - but not as a basketball player.

Lol. Of course you believe that, you're a Purdue homer. I'm sure you think Painter developed Swanigan too, right? Lulz.

Tell me what did Bryant get better at? Vonleh? Zeller? Biggie its obvious by all the national attention and his stats. NBA is all about athletes and potential all of IU bigs had that before coming to IU. Biggie wasn't even a mock draft pick before his freshman yr. All those IU bigs were.

Yeah, I'm a PU homer . . .

. . . I've actually been on PU's campus once, when I was a freshman at DePauw and prior to my transfer to IU.

You're more stupid than just in basketball IQ. You should just stop while you're only this far behind.

False. He loved Purdue early on but then was upset when we didn't offer him right away (his freshman year when he was still a work in progress). Luckily he picked us in the end but it wasn't a situation where he was always a sure thing to Purdue. Far from it.
That is true, he actually committed to MSU then decommitted. So Purdue wasn't a lock initially. But I think he went to the right place for his skill set. Crean would of had him playing point guard! Lol

Biggie was a McDonalds All American. You're completely delusional.

Biggie driving the lane out of Crean's weave would have been like a 6'9" bowling ball hitting bowling pins . . . .

Let's hope the former. I can't imagine what he would come back for to improve.

Purdue has another big man coming in next year. They will have two Haas types at the same time. I don't think Haas is ready for the NBA yet.

The new Haas plays more like a stretch 4.

Actually the guy we have is the same height as Haas but he's built more like a stretch 4. He's only like 230 pounds or so. More of a 4 than a 5. Needs to put on a lot of muscle.
