He does a lot of good things. But has some severe limitations…and has the old school stubbornness to him, that will probably keep him from being a really good college coach.
Is Pearl taking steroids? Did someone pump him full of air? He looks like the stay puff marshmellow man. Shirt is about 3 sizes too small.
Lots of college coaches are successful in establishing consistent high effort as an expectation… not something that ever needs considered or talked about.
He keeps scheduling these games and getting run out of the building. His ego controls him he is not nearly as great as he thinks he is
That's not always done on the sideline though. Sometimes it is recruiting. It's pretty hard to imagine a couple of these guys playing hard enough to win at a consistent level. Woodson clearly is slow to get things turned around sometimes when things aren't going well, but it's tough to make a guy try harder unless you run them til they drop. Can't do that if you are trying to appeal to the 1 and done types. And that's the problem.

Go get Dusty May and modernize IU basketball. Make Woodson retire. He had no clue how to coach modern college basketball. Zero
Low energy, bad body language on the sidelines. This too shall pass, but it's going to be a long winter.
Tjd made him look better than he was but even that wasn't great. Minnesota just took down a team we beat by 6. They won by 20.
If Woodson was indeed a filler three years is probably enough. He I doubt can make a sweet sixeteen.
I can’t post a pic of me and I am by no means a model of fitness. But our boy has packed on some lbs. I am 6’, 205 lbs and should weigh about 185.
Alabama looked tough today and lives/dies by the 3PT shot. Purdue played their game and fought back to win today.
