DeVries has a background that isn't too different from many coaches that are in the top 20 today. What is important to me is he has won in his previous stops. He turned Drake around and was +10 in wins with a brand new roster. In his first year at WVU, he had a top 25 recruiting class.
I'd like to think we have a guy that can coach, can recruit decent in a place not as attractive as IU, and will work harder than Woody. BTW, Devries has been recruiting a small forward named Mgbako for '26.
