Spriggs with a 4.83 40? A 37.5" vertical?

A lot that Wilson says does not make it beyond the local press. But KW is on record as saying that JS is the third best tackle that he has been associated with. The other two were at Oklahoma and went onto professional careers.

Would it be out of line . . .

to ask whether he's played any basketball? 6'7", 37.5" vertical and lots and lots of power . . . that sounds tempting for some reason . . . .

He was a stud basketball and lacrosse player in high school

His athleticism was easily evident as a high school senior. It was easy to compare him against the top OT prospects in high school and see he had a lot more athleticism. Someone from scout.com mentioned he ran a 4.71 40 in high school. He's probably our next first-round pick.

I completely agree with Wilson's assessment of Sprigg's play.

Kidd really looks like a baller but to many times I watch a game and he either gets pushed around to easily or whiffs all together. His stats look impressive now he needs to put that to action on the field.

Wouldn't mind seeing a snap or two . . .

with Spriggs as an eligible receiver at the tackle slot. If he can catch the ball and we can catch the opposing defense napping at just the right time . . . .
