Nebraska ended an 11 game skid against the Spartans. Interesting end was that Izzo backed off his players with 20 seconds to go and down 7. Cornhuskers aren’t bad but MSU played poorly down the stretch. I’d hate to be a player at the next several practices.

The Big Ten looks pretty bad overall so far. Still too early for me to have a legitimate projection of how we fare in the Big Ten come March.
Right now, through the end of 2023 we stand 2-0 and a half game lead on Illinois, Northwestern and Wisconsin.
What does that mean nothing other than early results were winning the Big Ten games we had in 2023.
Hopefully we look better against Kansas although they and UConn will be the two best teams, we face in 2023. We need to keep developing and hopefully get X back healthy by the start of 2024.

My thought on why our 2 conference wins were big is that we're not having to dig out of a hole at the start like we seemingly have forever.
Everyone always says Izzo will have the team kicking ass by March. Not so sure this yr.

They might not be as good as expected, but I would bet their physicality will go up a few levels. That's Izzo's DNA.
Big ten is pretty bad. I guess that is one reason why iu could make the tourney even with awful guard play. Likely another quick ncaa flameout for the big ten
What happened to the vaunted top ten recruit Xavier booker he doesn't even play.
Izzo's getting old. He may not have the energy to drive his teams (or himself) the way he used to.
Dont worry, when they play IU, they will have a moment where Izzo tears into them, causing a 13-0 run against IU to beat IU and start their winning streak vbg
We always have had a way of bringing out the best in opposing players over the years. Auburn and Saturday were another perfect example. Their three-point shooters were a combined 1 for 29 over their last two games I believe they said prior to the start of Saturdays game.
