The teams traded interceptions around the final minute of the game, with the last one by the Huskers setting up a FG by Iowa to win it 13-10.. Iowa went 10-2 on the season with almost no offense to speak of, so they made the most of their final year in the B1G West. The Huskers needed the win to become bowl eligible and they obviously fell short of that goal.
